BERLIN – Japan captain Makoto Hasebe, who has been on the sidelines following right knee surgery, took part in training at relegation-threatened Nuremberg on Tuesday, the Bundesliga club said on its official website.
The 30-year-old Hasebe has been out since January due to a torn lateral meniscus in his right knee and has been rehabilitating in Japan.
