Injured AC Milan midfielder Keisuke Honda will miss Sunday’s home tie to Catania after being left out of the squad for the Serie A match.

Honda sprained his left ankle in training on Thursday. The severity of the injury was not initially known, but manager Clarence Seedorf has since said that it is not serious and expects Honda to return for the April 19 game at Livorno.

Honda scored his first league goal on Monday in a 2-1 away win over Genoa.
