Japanese schoolgirl Sara Takanashi clinched the overall women's summer Grand Prix title for the second year in a row with her third win of the season in on Saturday.

Takanashi, the reigning individual winter World Cup champion, scored 244.5 points to post a crushing victory over France's Coline Mattel after the best first- and second-round jumps of 102 and 105.5 meters.

The 16-year-old Sochi Olympic gold medal hope, who won her first two titles this season at last week's meet in Russia, secured the overall title ahead of the final leg of the Grand Prix series on Sunday.

Mattel scored 230 points while Japan's Yurina Yamada was third with 220.4. Also for Japan, Kaori Iwabuchi was 28th and Seiko Koasa was 29th. Misaki Shigeno and Yoshiko Kasai failed to qualify for the final round.
