Teenager Sara Takanashi returned from a training crash in spectacular form on Saturday, with her third victory this season on the women's World Cup ski jump circuit in Schonwald, Germany.

The 16-year-old from Hokkaido was competing for the first time since Dec. 20, when she suffered a concussion after tumbling in practice. She landed a pair of 96.5-meter jumps, a distance matched just once all day, and finished with 242.1 points. In five individual events this season, Takanashi has won three times, with one second and one third.

Italy's Evelyn Insam was second with 224.3 points, while Austria's Daniela Iraschko and Jacqueline Seifriedsberger shared third on 219.2 points.
