Former WBC bantamweight and featherweight world champion Hozumi Hasegawa declared himself ready to return to the throne after beating Mexican Arturo Santos by unanimous decision in a non-title fight Saturday.

Hasegawa fought for the first time since April when he knocked out Felipe Carlos Felix in another non-title bout. The 32-year-old said his next fight will be for a world title either at super bantamweight or featherweight.

"I don't really care who it is as long as he's a champion," Hasegawa said. "I just want to get back to where I was."
