KASAMA, IBARAKI PREF. – Yoshinori Fujimoto, in just his second year as a pro and his first on tour, hit the jackpot on Sunday when he won the Japan Tour Championship Citibank Cup.
The 22-year-old out of Sendai’s Tohoku Fukushi University fired a 3-under-par 68 to finish two strokes ahead of Masamichi Uehira, who started the day in a tie for second.
