The J. League has no idea when the season will restart with the nuclear power plant crisis in Fukushima Prefecture worsening, saying something will have to be dropped from the existing calendar to accommodate all the changes.

The 38 clubs in the first and second divisions held an emergency executive committee meeting Tuesday at the J. League's headquarters in Tokyo, in which many teams felt that reconvening the season from the weekend of April 2 is not a realistic proposition.

Representatives from Vegalta Sendai and Montedio Yamagata of J1 and Mito Hollyhock of J2 did not attend the meeting after suffering severe damage from Friday's earthquake recorded at a magnitude of 9.0.
