OSAKA (Kyodo) Japan came from a set down to defeat archrival South Korea 3-1 Saturday in the World Grand Prix women's volleyball tournament.
Japan improved its record to 2-3 after a 22-25, 25-13, 25-18, 25-10 win at Osaka Municipal Central Gymnasium. South Korea remained winless.
In the day's other Pool F match in Osaka, Puerto Rico (1-4) defeated Russia (3-2) 25-17, 25-22, 22-25, 28-26.
