Urawa Reds rookie midfielder Naoki Yamada and Vissel Kobe striker Yoshito Okubo have been named to the All-Star squad of J. League players to meet their counterparts from South Korea’s K-League in next month’s JOMO Cup, the J. League said Monday.

A record six players from J. League champions Kashima Antlers, including Mitsuo Ogasawara and Atsuto Uchida, feature in the squad to be led by Antlers’ Brazilian manager Oswaldo Oliveira for the Aug. 8 match in Incheon, South Korea.
