NAGOYA (Kyodo) Towering Australian international striker Josh Kennedy has joined Nagoya Grampus from German Bundesliga side Karlsruher SC, the J. League first division club said Sunday.

Nagoya did not disclose details of the deal for the 26-year-old, who helped Australia reach the 2010 World Cup finals and played in the Socceroos' 2-1 win over Japan in their final Group A qualifier in Melbourne on Wednesday.

Kennedy had been looking to move on from relegated Karlsruher, where he had limited playing opportunities last season after falling out with manager Edmund Becker.
