PARIS (Kyodo) Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Junichi Inamoto has joined Stade Rennes, the Ligue 1 club said Friday.

The 29-year-old has signed a two-year contract, the French club said.

Inamoto, whose two-year contract with the German Bundesliga club expires at the end of June, has had limited playing time recently.

Inamoto has played in England, Turkey and Germany since he joined Premier League club Arsenal from Gamba Osaka in 2001. He also played in the past two World Cups.
