HIGASHIOSAKA, Osaka Pref. (Kyodo) Japan demolished South Korea 80-9 to retain their Asian Five Nations crown on Saturday.

Hirotoki Onozawa marked his 50th cap for his country by scoring four of Japan’s 12 tries at Hanazono Ground, helping the hosts claim their second straight title with a game to spare.

Japan, which won the inaugural Asian Five Nations tournament last year, have a maximum return of 18 points from three games and an unassailable lead ahead of their final match against Singapore. South Korea dropped to 2-2 and have 13 points.
