TOGO, Aichi Pref. (Kyodo) Tetsuji Hiratsuka took advantage of a comfortable lead into the final round Sunday, shooting a 4-under-par 66 on the way to a seven-shot victory at the Chunichi Crowns.

Hiratsuka made six birdies against two bogeys to close on 17-under 263 at the Nagoya Golf Club Wago Course. It was his first win on the JGTO tour since the 2007 Mitsubishi Diamond Cup and fifth overall.

“I missed the cut in the first two events of the season, so my initial goal was to give my all to make the cut. But I feel like my golf has changed and I am more in tune,” said Hiratsuka.
