NAGOYA (Kyodo) The Chunichi Dragons have acquired Colorado Rockies minor league infielder Tony Blanco and Seattle Mariners minor league lefty Nelson Payano, the team said Monday.
Blanco, 28, who played mostly for Double-A Tulsa in 2008, and Payano, 26, who pitched in games this past season for the Mariners' Double-A affiliate, both hail from the Dominican Republic.
