OITA (Kyodo) Brazilian striker Ueslei scored his second goal in four days to steer Oita Trinita to the J. League Nabisco Cup final for the first time after a 1-0 win at home to Nagoya Grampus in the second leg of their semifinal on Sunday.

Oita won 2-1 on aggregate following Wednesday's 1-1 away draw and will now meet Shimizu S-Pulse, which knocked out holder Gamba Osaka after a 3-2 away win on the night, in the Nov. 1 final at National Stadium for its first major trophy.

Ueslei struck the only goal of the game at Kyushu Oil Dome when he rifled home a sizzling shot from 25 meters into the bottom-left corner, adding to the precious away goal he grabbed in the first leg.

Goalkeeper Seigo Shimokawa made a series of good saves and the Oita defense held out in the face of Nagoya's comeback attempts as Trinita, the surprise package of the season, stretched its unbeaten run in competitive matches to 14.

At Expo stadium, Masaki Yamamoto netted an early goal and Takuma Edamura added a second-half double to move Shimizu closer to its first League Cup triumph in 12 years with an aggregate score of 4-3.
