Grenoble midfielder Tsukasa Umesaki said Saturday that the French second-division club will not be offering him a contract extension when his current loan deal ends next month. "I was told the club would not be extending my contract," said Umesaki, who joined Japanese-owned Grenoble from J-League club Oita Trinita in January. Umesaki, who was informed of the decision by Grenoble general manager Hidetaka Ubagai, said he hoped to continue playing abroad.
