Hisao Kuramata will step down as manager of FC Tokyo at the end of the season, the J-League first-division club said Monday.

Kuramata took over the reigns from Brazilian manager Gallo, who was sacked in August, but the 48-year old was unable to improve results and the Gasmen finished a disappointing 13th in the league this term.

Meanwhile, Tokyo said they would not be renewing contracts for Brazilian defender Jean and goalkeeper Taishi Endo.
