Japan's Kei Nishikori and his Argentine partner Emiliano Massa rallied to beat Russians Artur Chernov and Valery Rudney 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 to win the men's doubles title at the French Open junior championships Saturday.

It is the first time a Japanese player won any Grand Slam men's junior event, and Nishikori and Massa came back from a set down for three straight matches from the quarterfinals at Roland Garros.

Earlier at the championships, Nishikori upset Australian Open junior champion Alexandre Sidorenko of France in the singles first round, but lost to Romania's Petru-Alexandru Luncanu in the quarterfinals.
