Japanese teen figure skating sensation Mao Asada grabbed the spotlight Thursday in a special ABC national television broadcast, calling into question the age restriction preventing her from competing in February's Turin Winter Olympics. ISU guidelines stipulate that figure skaters must turn 15 by July 1 in the year prior to an Olympics or world championship to protect the athlete from a medical standpoint. Journalists on the program slammed the ISU policy, arguing that it is unfair to exclude Asada from the competition as she turned 15 on Sept. 25 -- just three months over the limit.
