Akinori Iwamura hit a two-run homer and Dicky Gonzalez pitched 7 2/3 strong innings as the Yakult Swallows snapped the Central League-leading Hanshin Tigers' six-game winning streak with a 7-2 win Saturday.

Yakult opened the scoring with Iwamura's shot off Shinobu Fukuhara (8-14), his 27th homer of the season, with one out and a runner on second in the fifth inning. Shinya Miyamoto added a two-run single in the sixth to increase the lead to 4-0 at Koshien Stadium.

Hanshin reduced the deficit to two runs in the eighth on back-to-back RBI doubles by Shane Spencer and Norihiro Akahoshi. But Hirotaka Egusa allowed a two-run double to Adam Riggs and an RBI single to Tomohito Yoneno in the top of the ninth.
