Cesario, the winner of both the Japanese and American Oaks, will be sidelined from two to three months with ligament damage in her right leg, Japan Racing Association officials said on Friday. Cesario won the Japanese Oaks on May 22 before blowing away the field to claim the American Oaks title, beating the runnerup by four lengths in the race for 3-year-old fillies on July 3.
