Tatsuhiko Kinjo homered in the bottom of the 11th inning Thursday to give the Yokohama BayStars a 6-5 victory over the Hiroshima Carp in the Central League on Thursday.

Kinjo connected off Ken Takahashi (0-2), Hiroshima's sixth pitcher of the game at Yokohama Stadium, for a one-out shot to center as the BayStars extended their winning streak to four games and moved back into third place in the league standings.

Marc Kroon (2-0) escaped an 11th-inning jam to pick up the win.

Hiroshima pinch-hitter Itsuki Asai hit a game-tying RBI double in the eighth to send the game into extra innings.

Takahiro Saeki homered and Hitoshi Taneda went 3-for-5 with two RBIs for the BayStars, who blew leads of 3-1 and 5-4 in the only game scheduled for Thursday in Japanese baseball.
