Bastian Reinhardt and Eren Sen headed the goals that gave German first-division side Hamburg SV a 2-0 win over Urawa Reds in a friendly on Tuesday.

Reinhardt opened the scoring on 20 minutes from a free-kick and Sen wrapped the match up just before final whistle, while Urawa failed to find its rhythm throughout the match at Saitama Stadium 2002 and squandered several chances.

Japan striker Naohiro Takahara, who plays for Hamburg, sat out the match and has also pulled out of Japan's World Cup qualifier away to Bahrain on Friday as he is suffering a strained left hamstring.
