Japan’s Fumie Suguri took top honors with a graceful performance in the women’s short program ahead of compatriot Yoshie Onda at the Four Continents Championships on Thursday.

Suguri earned 61.44 points to take the lead, followed by Onda in second with 58.02, heading into Saturday’s free skate.
