Veteran jumper Masahiko Harada won his fifth title at the Nordic ski jumping national championships on Saturday.

The 36-year-old Harada, a member of the gold-winning Japanese jumping team at the Nagano Winter Olympics in 1998, recorded jumps of 91.5 meters in both his first and second attempts at the K-90 hill in Hakuba village, for a total of 238.0 points. It was Harada's first national title in four years and fifth overall in a normal hill event.
