Brazilian striker Emerson scored two second-half goals as Urawa Reds came from behind to beat Cerezo Osaka 4-2 at home in the J. League on Sunday.

Cerezo striker Yoshito Okubo capped an eventful week by drawing the visitors level with his second goal of the afternoon on 58 minutes at Saitama Stadium 2002 but two clinical finishes from Emerson in the last 16 minutes ensured Urawa its first league win under German manager Guido Buchwald.

In Sunday's other match, defender Mitsuru Nagata celebrated his call up to the Japan squad for this month's World Cup qualifier against Singapore with the winning goal as Kashiwa Reysol edged Tokyo Verdy 1-0 away.

Nagata headed home unmarked from Keiji Tamada's corner eight minutes from time to maintain Kashiwa's perfect start to the season.
