Noriaki Kasai nailed a superb second-round jump of 101 meters to win the Ito Cup Miyanomori ski jumping meet in Sapporo on Friday evening. Kasai, who won his first World Cup title of the season in the United States last month, landed a first jump of 100 meters on the K-90 Miyanomori hill before his second leap secured him a first Ito Cup title with a winning total of 263.0 points. Teppei Takano came in second and was followed by Takanobu Okabe. Nordic combined World Cup star Daito Takahashi was fifth.
