Ozeki Chiyotaikai and Kaio completely dominated their opponents on Friday to stay in a three-way tie for the lead with top maegashira Miyabiyama as the title race winds down at the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament.

With just two days remaining, Chiyotaikai and Kaio exorcised their demons with convincing wins over Musoyama and rank-and-filer Tokitsuumi, respectively, to improve their records to 10-3.

In an all-ozeki rumble in the dohyo, Chiyotaikai exploded out of the crouch and wrung Musoyama with a furious throat-grab that sent his ozeki nemesis reeling helter-skelter into the ringside seats at Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium.

Chiyotaikai is the defending Nagoya champion and is chasing his fourth Emperor's Cup while Musoyama, who dropped to 9-4, is still in the running for his second overall title.
