Overnight leader Kiyoshi Maita matched an even par Saturday to extend his lead to two strokes going into the final round of the rain-delayed Diamond Cup golf tournament in Ibaraki Prefecture.

The day's play was interrupted for about three hours due to heavy rain at the Oarai Golf Club.

The 43-year-old Maita, seeking his second tour title, put together four birdies against two bogeys and a double bogey over the 7,200-yard course for a three-day total of 7-under 209.
