South Korean Hur Suk Ho shot the day's best score of a 5-under-par 67 Saturday to grab a share of a one-stroke lead with overnight leader Taichi Teshima going into the final round of the 120 million yen Munsingwear Open KSB Cup golf tournament.

Teshima, seeking his first title since winning the Japan Open in 2001 and his third overall victory, scattered five birdies against four bogeys for a 71.

Fudo extends lead

TOYOTA, Aichi Pref. (Kyodo) Overnight leader Yuri Fudo carded a 68 in her second straight day of bogey-free play and opened up a four-stroke lead Saturday heading into the final round of the Chukyo TV Bridgestone Ladies golf tournament.

Fudo, money-rankings queen the past three years, scattered four birdies on the Chukyo Golf Club's 6,334-yard Ishino course for a 36-hole total of 11-under 133.

South Korean Ku Ok Hee, come-from-behind winner of last week's Vernal Ladies, also wielded a hot putter as she fired the day's best score of a 67 and is in a three-way tie for second with Midori Yoneyama (68) and Michiko Hattori (70) at 137.
