TOGO, Aichi Pref. – Taichi Teshima, one of the three overnight joint leaders, put together an even-par 70 on Saturday to hang onto a share of a one-stroke lead going into Sunday’s final round of the Chunichi Crowns.
Hiroyuki Fujita, winner of last December’s Asia-Japan Okinawa Open, two-putted for a double bogey on the par-4 eighth hole but recovered quickly as he birdied the Nos. 9 and 15 en route to a 69 to rub shoulders with Teshima over the par-70, 6,547-yard Wago Course.
