Japan’s scheduled home friendly against Serbia and Montenegro this summer has been canceled due to a fixture clash, Japan Football Association General Secretary Takao Hirata said Friday.
Japan was set to face Serbia and Montenegro on Aug. 20 but the country formerly known as Yugoslavia is to face Wales on the same day following the postponement of their Group Nine European Championship qualifying match originally scheduled for Wednesday.
