Ozeki Chiyotaikai was tagged with his second loss, while yokozuna Asashoryu and three other wrestlers emerged victorious to keep one step behind Wednesday, the 11th day of the Spring Grand Sumo Tournament.

Chiyotaikai fell prey to sekiwake Wakanosato's clever sumo and dropped to 9-2 in the 15-day tournament at Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium.

Three rank-and file wrestlers -- Hokutoriki, Tokitsuumi and Miyabiyama -- improved their records to 8-3 to rub shoulders with Asashoryu.

Against Wakanosato, Chiyotaikai, who is gunning for his first tourney title in four tournaments, appeared a little too anxious.
