Seattle Mariners pitchers Shigetoshi Hasegawa and Kazuhiro Sasaki are both scheduled to take the mound in a practice game against the Lotte Giants next week, officials of the American League club said Friday.
After taking part in the game against the South Korean club on Tuesday, Hasegawa will pitch on Feb. 28 against San Diego and March 3 against Kansas City.
Sasaki, who spent three consecutive days in the bullpen this week, is due to pitch an inning each in games March 1 and March 4 against San Diego and the Milwaukee Brewers, respectively.
