Colombian President Alvaro Uribe will visit Japan from Saturday to April 12 to hold talks with Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi and attend the Inter-American Development Bank's annual meeting in Okinawa.
The Foreign Ministry said Monday the IDB meeting will be held between Sunday and April 12 in the city of Ginowan. It is expected to focus on ways to expand trade and investment between Latin America and East Asia.
