Paul G. Guilfoile has been appointed president and representative director of Kirin-Tropicana, Inc., a joint venture between Tropicana and the Kirin Beverage Corp., effective March 27, Tropicana Asia Pacific announced.
Guilfoile, 43, joined Tropicana Asia Pacific in 1992 as director of business development and has been with Kirin-Tropicana since 1994. He was appointed vice president and representative director in 1995 for the top juice producer and marketer in Japan.
He spent 10 years in advertising in Japan, Paul G. Guilfoile first with J. Walter Thompson, Japan, and then with Hakuhodo Advertising, Inc. Yutaka Miyazaki, currently director and general manager of the Planning Department of Kirin-Tropicana, will be appointed vice president and representative director.
