Spring at The Tokyo Station Hotel

Commemorating the 100th anniversary of its opening, The Tokyo Station Hotel in the Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building became the first hotel in Tokyo to join the prestigious Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) group on Jan. 23 and has accepted reservation from the SLH customers since March 1.

In celebration of the commemorative year, the hotel is organizing a promotional fair through Dec. 25, including the Sakura Promotion (cherry blossom promotion), which is being held at four of its restaurants and bars through April 30.

Among them, French restaurant Blanc Rouge on the second floor is serving a seasonal limited edition spring lunch course Printemps through April 15. The menu includes clams mariniere (stewed with white wine), potato cream soup, scallops poele (pot-roast) and the hotel’s traditional wagyu (Japanese beef) stew, accompanied by salad and dessert. The lunch course is available from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for ¥6,800 per person (including tax, excluding service fee).

NZ Fair at Tokyo Dome Hotel

Through April 15, Tokyo Dome Hotel is holding the New Zealand Fair at its Super Dining Rilassa on the third floor.

Blessed with a genial climate and rich natural environment, New Zealand is famed for its abundant variety of food exported under strict quality control — a key industry of the country. To allow people in Japan to enjoy New Zealand food, the hotel has organized a buffet-style fair since 2012.

The buffet includes various gourmet dishes such as roast beef, paella, pasta, stew and dessert using New Zealand ingredients including Ocean Beef, king salmon, mussels and avocado oil.

A 90-minute lunch buffet is available from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for ¥2,800 per person (¥1,200 for children aged 4-12). A two-hour dinner buffet is available from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for ¥3,800 per person (¥1,200 for children aged 4-12 and ¥3,300 for seniors over 65). All prices are excluding tax.

The Strings mixes brandy and tea

The Strings by InterContinental Hotel’s restaurant and bar The Dining Room is offering the Green Garden, a brandy cocktail made with green tea, through April 30.

Guests are sure to enjoy this seasonal cocktail that mixes the fresh citrus flavor of Alsace Keva Lemon & Lime brandy with the delicate taste of the Singaporean company TWG Tea’s sencha green tea. The drink will be presented in a teapot designed and produced by TWG Tea, accompanied by dried fruit, and is available for ¥1,500 (excluding tax and service charge).

Located on the 26th floor of the hotel, The Dining Room also provides guests with a panoramic view of the Tokyo cityscape, as well as global cuisine that combines Western dishes with Japanese ingredients and Asian spices.
