Hiroshima: Tokasai & Shin-Noh

Peach Blossom Festival. Tokasai Bugaku (ancient court dance with music) and Shin-Noh (traditional masked drama) performances are dedicated to the shrine.

Schedule & Key events:
● April 15 from 5 p.m.: Bugaku performance
● April 16-18 from 9 a.m.: Shin-Noh performance

Location: Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, Miyajima-cho, Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima


Access:
(1) JR Sanyo Honsen Line to Miyajima-guchi Sta., and then walk 5 min. to Miyajima-guchi Pier. From there, take ferryboat to Miyajima Pier (10 min.), and then walk 10 min. (2) JR Sanyo Shinkansen Line to Hiroshima Sta., and then take streetcar or bus to Hiroshima Ujina Port (30 min.) From there, take hydrofoil to Miyajima Pier (22 min.), and then walk 10 min.
