Jeux vifs et colores @ Ueno Bunka Kaikan

Various instrumental musicians and a singer will perform five newly composed contemporary classical music pieces on Dec. 13 at Small Hall of Ueno Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo's Ueno area (5-45 Ueno Koen, Taito Ward, Tokyo). The concert, entitled "Jeux vifs et colores," will be an occasion of the first presentation of these pieces.

Harmonica player Yasuo Watani will play "Laughing Harmonica, Boiling Harmonica" written by Shin-Ichiro Ikebe; Violinist Reiko Watanabe will perform "Sonitus Vitalis VI" for violin solo by Tokuhide Niimi; Flutist Kaori Wakabayashi will play "HIMITU" ("Frozen Honey") for flute solo by Akira Nishimura; Saxophonists Nobuya Sugawa and Masanori Oisi will present "Composition by 3D modeling V" for two saxophonists by Hitomi Kaneko; and Soprano Kanna Ogawa and pianist Koki Kuroiwa will perform "Inorino Hana" by Shoichi Yabuta.
