Festival with a 300-year history. The highlight of this festival is Kaichu-Togyo (people carrying floats into the sea and parading around).

1:40 p.m.-6:20 p.m. Parade of four huge floats from each different district to Yatsurugi-jinja Shrine through the city, and demonstration of local performing arts
● Oct. 27
10:45 a.m.-11:50 a.m. Kaichu-Togyo on Miya-kaigan Beach
noon-5:35 p.m. Parade of all floats from Wakamiya-jinja Shrine to Yatsurugi-jinja Shrine
from 12:10 p.m.: Shinto dance performance with music at Wakamiya-jinja Shrine
from 5:45 p.m.: Shinto dance performance with music at Yatsurugi-jinja Shrine
