Nagasaki: Shoro-nagashi

Hundreds of Shoro-bune (sacred boats made of bamboo and straws, and beautifully decorated with lighted lanterns) set on the carriages, are drawn by townspeople along the city's main streets with the sounds of bells and firecrackers exploding.

Main street in the city: JR Nagasaki Honsen Line to Nagasaki Sta., and then walk 10-15 min.
