Near the beginning of this deliciously funny 1970s caper flick, we see Christian Bale as a small-time hustler. Right off the bat, it shows us the commitment of Bale, who is physically transformed once again (with a big gut). This is a film about how people create and present an image to the world, such as Amy Adams' faux-British royalty con woman. Fans of "Goodfellas" or "Boogie Nights" will delight in this.
