The latest installment of the "Pirates" trilogy is the longest (nearly 3 hours) and the plot — made up of too many subplots that never really connect — is the messiest. Basically, Will (Orlando Bloom), Elizabeth (Keira Knightley) and Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) must assemble the nine pirate lords — including Johnny Depp's Captain Jack, who is trapped in Davy Jones' Locker — to defeat Lord Beckett (Tom Holldander) and Davy Jones (Bill Nighy). The third ride is packed with more special effects, more action, more people and even more money poured into sets, but most audiences will need a diagram to follow all the characters. If you're still in the series because of the romance between Will and Elizabeth, stay until after the credits to see the "real" ending.
