Shohei Ono will grapple for his second straight Olympic gold medal in the men's 73-kg division, this time on home soil, after being named to Japan's judo team for this summer's Tokyo Games on Thursday.

The All Japan Judo Federation selected 12 of its 14-member team at a meeting in Tokyo.

Joining Ono is 19-year-old sensation Uta Abe, a gold medalist at the Dusseldorf Grand Slam this month and the two-time defending women's 53-kg world champion.
