EMMEN, NETHERLANDS – Keito Nakamura scored in his debut for FC Twente in the Dutch first-division side’s 1-1 draw with PSV Eindhoven on Saturday.
Nakamura, on loan from J. League first-division club Gamba Osaka, made an immediate impact for his new team, scoring in the eighth minute to give Twente the lead in its season opener at De Grolsch Veste.
The 19-year-old played until the 71st minute and was substituted shortly after Denzel Dumfries equalized for the visitors.
In the Belgian first division, midfielder Ryota Morioka netted his first goal of the season, a penalty, in Charleroi’s 1-1 draw with Kortrijk.
