TOYOHASHI, AICHI PREF. – Second-year right-hander Kenta Ishida had a scoreless-inning streak snapped at 26 with a seventh-inning run, but the Yokohama BayStars held on to beat the Chunichi Dragons 4-1 in the Central League on Wednesday and earn their first four-game win streak of the season.
At Toyohashi Stadium, Ishida (5-1) allowed a run on four hits and a walk, while striking out four. With a 3-0 lead, he surrendered a leadoff single and a double, and with runners on second and third, Ishida uncorked a run-scoring wild pitch.
