The Fukuoka Softbank Hawks will hand out championship rings not only to their team at their home opener, but to their fans as well.
The two-time defending Japan Series champions announced Friday that fans attending their March 29 game — and have seats outside the visiting supporters' area — will receive replica championship rings at Yafuoku Dome.
Manager Kimiyasu Kudo, Hawks players and staff will receive their rings in a pregame ceremony before Softbank takes on the Seibu Lions.
