Sochi Olympic silver medalist Daniela Iraschko-Stolz of Austria landed a huge opening jump in Sunday's women's World Cup event and held on for her second victory of the weekend as Japan's two-time defending World Cup champion Sara Takanashi had to settle for 5th.

Takanashi jumped 90 and 90.5 meters to finish with 213.1 points, failing to reach the 95-meter K point on either effort. Her fifth-place result saw her fall into second place in the World Cup standings.

"I want to close my eyes. The jumps were that awful," Takanashi said. "I have an image of myself making good jumps, but there is quite a gap between that and my actual jumps and how they feel."

Iraschko-Stolz, runnerup at the Sochi Games to Germany's Carina Vogt, landed a booming 97.5-meter jump in the first round, but managed just 89.5 with her second. Vogt was second, just 0.6 points behind, while Canada's Taylor Henrich was third.
