INCHEON, SOUTH KOREA – Police on Monday sent papers to prosecutors, accusing swimmer Naoya Tomita of stealing a camera belonging to a South Korean media organization at the 17th Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.
The 25-year-old Tomita, who has been ordered to remain in the athletes’ village awaiting punishment, admitted last week to stealing a camera worth 8 million won (about ¥830,000).
