After a week of intensive work on his swing, Ryo Ishikawa feels his game is back to where he wants it.

“I’ve never hit that many balls in practice in America,” Ishikawa said prior to his third U.S. PGA start of 2011 at the Cadillac Championship. “Now I’m hitting the ball so well it’s scary.”

Ishikawa hit 400 balls every day last week.

With his ultimate target being the Masters Tournament from April 7-10, Ishikawa initially pledged to produce results in PGA Tour events this year.

The 19-year-old, however, missed the cut at the Northern Trust Open and bowed out in the first round of the Match Play Championship, both in February.

“I was looking at other golfers too much, and I couldn’t play my brand of aggressive golf,” Ishikawa said.
